Jatropha in Indonesia - Project Sold Out

“Jatropha is the best possible candidate for future biofuel production. ”
Goldman Sachs
After noticing the global boom in biofuels, and the rapidly growing energy needs of the world population, 360 Invest Group is proud to present to the market another groundbreaking project. We are able to offer investors the opportunity to make strong returns in the alternative energy sector whilst developing biofuels, and helping to halt climate change, through jatropha oil investment in Indonesia.
Investing Goes Green
360 Invest Group's Bio-Commodities Indonesia project offers investors an income on biofuel producing jatropha plants on leased land in Indonesia.
Biofuels are the soaring demand story of recent years, with the world's governments dedicated to finding a clean energy source:
-
Climate change - We can no longer afford the increasing amount of carbon emissions from fossil fuels.
- Growing energy consumption - The world population will reach 9 billion by 2050, meaning soaring demand for energy.
- Oil crisis - Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin group has warned there is an incoming "oil crunch" within five years, with the potential to be more serious than the credit crisis).
Governments worldwide are highly supportive of biofuels, production in OECD countries is currently supported by $13 billion to $15 billion per year (OECD/ITF, 2007).
Why Jatropha in Indonesia?
Jatropha is a drought-resitant inedible green shrub that grows almost anywhere, so not displacing agricultural land for food. The liquid in the plant can be made into a sustainable biodiesel, which back in 2007, was cited by Goldman Sachs as one of the best candidates for future biodiesel production. Since then it has soared.
The oil-rich seeds produce 3 metric tonnes of oil per hectare, the highest of all tree seeds.
Jatropha's potential to help mitigate climate change are vast, reducing 68% of the greenhouse gas emissions of fossil diesel.
The largest economy in southeast Asia, Indonesia has set a budget of $22 billion for alternative fuels promotion.
The climate and land is perfect for jatropha. In fact, a Dutch Professor recently projected more than 25 million hectares in the country is suitable for production of the plant.
